POLÍTICA DE TARDE PRIMARIA RIDGETOP:

Un estudiante TARDY que llegue después de las 7:40 a.m. DEBE ir a la oficina y recibir un PERMISO DE TARDY ANTES de que él / ella vaya a clase. TODAS LAS TARDANZAS NO ESTÁN EXCUSADAS hasta que la oficina reciba la documentación que indique la razón * él / ella llegó tarde (la documentación debe presentarse dentro de los 2 días). Si la documentación indica una razón aprobada *, el registro del estudiante reflejará una tardanza en su registro, pero será una tardanza justificada.
LAS TARDANZAS TIENEN EL SIGUIENTE EFECTO:
El niño pierde la instrucción. La clase está perturbada. El maestro es interrumpido.
Las tardanzas excesivas pueden ser reportadas al sistema judicial.
Hora de recogida:
Todos los niños en los grados PK-5 deben ser recogidos a las 3:10 p.m. El personal de la escuela no siempre está disponible para supervisar a los estudiantes cuando no son recogidos de inmediato. Cuando un niño no ha sido recogido a las 3:15 p.m., el maestro lo llevará a la oficina y llamará a los padres.
Por favor no pregunte / permita que su hijo lo espere en el patio de recreo hasta que lo recoja. Nuevamente, no hay supervisión y puede ser muy peligroso dejar a los niños en el patio de juegos sin supervisión después de la escuela.
Recoger a su hijo temprano:
Si necesita recoger a su hijo antes de que termine el día escolar, pase por la oficina, regístrese en la escuela y regístrelo. Salir temprano de la escuela también se considera TARDE. Se creará un comprobante para que usted lo lleve al maestro del niño antes de su liberación. Los niños no pueden ser entregados a nadie excepto a una persona designada por el tutor legal. Los niños son entregados solo a las personas que figuran en su información de registro. Si alguna circunstancia requiere un cambio, notifique a la oficina. Cuando saque a su hijo para una cita médica, proporcione una nota del médico cuando regrese a la escuela.

Starting Time:
Instruction begins promptly at 7:40 a.m. Students may arrive as early as 7:15 a.m. They will be supervised by a cafeteria monitor in the cafeteria. RIDGETOP ELEMENTARY TARDY POLICY:
School begins promptly at 7:40 a.m. Students must be INSIDE THE CLASSROOM at 7:40 a.m. Students who arrive in the classroom after 7:40 are TARDY. A TARDY student that arrives after 7:40 a.m. MUST go to the office and get a TARDY SLIP BEFORE he/she goes to class. ALL TARDIES ARE UNEXCUSED until the office receives documentation stating the reason* he/she was tardy (documentation must be submitted within 2 days). If documentation states an approved reason* the student’s record will reflect a tardy on their record but it will be an excused tardy.
TARDIES HAVE THE FOLLOWING EFFECT:
The child misses out on instruction. The class is disturbed. The teacher is interrupted.
Excessive tardies may be reported to the court system.
Pick Up Time:
All children in grades PK-5 should be picked up promptly at 3:10 p.m. School personnel are not always available to supervise students when they are not picked up promptly. When a child has not been picked up by 3:15 p.m., the teacher will bring the student to the office and call parents.
Please do not ask/allow your child to wait for you on the playground until you pick him/her up. Again, there is no supervision and it can be very dangerous to leave children on the playground unattended after school.
Picking Your Child Up Early:
If you should need to pick your child up before the school day ends, please come by the office, sign yourself in to the school and sign him/her out. Leaving school early is also considered a TARDY. A slip will be created for you to take to the child’s teacher before their release. Children may not be released to anyone except a person designated by the legal guardian. Children are released only to persons listed on their registration information. Should any circumstances require a change, please notify the office. When checking your child out for a medical appointment, please provide a doctor’s note when returning to school.
Our main concern is that all students be safe and supervised at all times. Following these guidelines assists us in assuring each child’s safety.
